However, unethical practices are common in the market, where plywood sheets are falsely stamped as 30 kg, while the actual weight may be only 27–29 kg, leading to reduced strength and lower reuse cycles.
Shuttering ply is generally available in two main bonding types:
PF (Phenol Formaldehyde): Water-resistant, more durable, and ideal for multiple uses in construction.
MR (Moisture Resistant): Suitable for less demanding applications and fewer repetitions.
Always insist on genuine weight and PF bonded shuttering for the best performance on-site.
